I was born in Thessaloniki in 1953 and studied at the Aristotele University of Thessaloniki.
In 1969 I started painting under the valuable direction of the distinguished painter Nikos Marangos and the sculptor – Professor in the School of Fine Arts of Athens Dimitris Kalamaras. My friendship with the painter Stergios Koulis and the sculptor George Sotiriou as well as the acquintance of Kostas Loustas also played a very important role in my evolution as an artist.
Between 1984 and 2006 I focused on the production of artistic ceramics, a field where I was distinguished. In 1989 my work was awarded by the International Union of Advertising Companies.
The Syndicat Atelier d’ Art Francais included me among its members in 1990.
Pierre Ennes, conservateur en chef du patrimoine, wrote articles on my work. These articles were published in important art journals in France. In this framework, I was invited in Valauris, in order to participate to workshops.
I also cooperated with the Ministry of Culture on the occasion of the Olympic Games of 2004 as well as with the Benaki Museum for a long period of time.
